GHANA COMMUNITY NETWORK SERVICES LIMITED (GCNET)
 
 

GCNet is a joint venture company, incorporated on November 13th, 2000. It’s shareholders are Customs Excise and Preventive Services (CEPS), Ghana Shippers Council (GSC), Ecobank Ghana Ltd. (EBG), Development Finance Holdings Ltd. (DFH), a subsidiary of Ghana Commercial Bank and SGS Societe General de Surveillance S.A. (SGS) of Switzerland. GCNet operates a customized electronic system for processing trade and customs documents, recording the results of this processing and validation. With the introduction of the service, the turnaround time for the processing and customs documents will reduce significantly. This will assist in the realization of the goal of making Ghana the Gateway to West Africa and the main hub to business activities in the sub-region.
