Golden Tulip Accra commenced operations in November 1991.The Hotel has 234 rooms with other facilities likes: restaurant bar, lounge, swimming pool with bar, casino gym, tennis court, conference and banquet rooms, night club, clinic, car rental, foreign exchange bureau, hairdressing salon, boutique and gift shop. The Hotel has hosted has important personalities like: The German Chancellor, Schroeder, Dutch Prince, Japanese Prime Minister, Mrs. Bush and her Team (2006), Prince of Saudi Arabia, Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdul Aziz Alsaud. Some awards won by the include Hotel of the Year for Africa, 2004’ by Golden Tulip Hotels World-Wide and Hospitality Facility of the Year 2003’ by the Chartered  Institute of Marketing Ghana.
